Position Details

Start Date: August 2026
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Grade Levels: PreK-12 students
Location: Floresville, TX - Onsite Only

Requirements

• TX SLPA License required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Active SLPA license or certification in Texas
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
• Support implementation of individualized therapy plans and monitor progress
• Assist with documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school procedures
• Participate in supervision and training as required
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development
• Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bilingual skills and teletherapy experience are a plus
