Speech Language Pathology Assistant - Onsite - 26/27 School Year

Position Details

Start Date: August 2026
Grade Levels: K-12 students
Hours: Full-time (32.5 hours/week)
Location: Woodland, CA - Onsite Only

Compensation

Starting at $37/hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP
• Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
• Support implementation of individualized therapy plans and monitor progress
• Aid in documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school procedures
• Participate in supervision and training as required
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development
• Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Active SLPA license or certification in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation
