About the role

AccessNurse, where technology meets compassionate care, is looking for professional nurses to deliver quality nursing care in a remote setting. As part of AccessNurse-TeamHealth, the premier medical call center, you will provide 24/7 telephone nurse triage, answering services, and health information services to hospitals, physician offices, and insurance plans across the country. From day one you’ll work from home using advanced evidence‑based clinical decision tools to help patients get the right level of care at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Assess symptoms using physician‑developed clinical algorithms
• Deliver and document health education to assist patients in managing their symptoms when indicated
• Assist in getting patients to the appropriate level of care (e.g., home care, office visit, emergency room)
• Consult with physicians as needed

Requirements

• Current multi‑state RN license with no restrictions; nurses holding a single‑state RN license must obtain a multi‑state license prior to a job offer
• 2+ years of RN experience
• Proficiency using computers and ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm
• Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information from patients
• High‑speed internet connection
• Workstation located in a room where the door can be locked
• Desk large enough to hold 2 monitors, computer, accessories, and a hands‑free headset
• Ability to handle confidential information; HIPAA compliance is mandatory

Pay

Up to $34 per hour (pay is based on the shift and position selected; a detailed pay breakdown will be discussed with your recruiter).

Schedule

Multiple shift options available: Full Time, Part‑Time (20 hrs+), Evenings, Weekend Only. Weekends and holidays are required. Remote training schedule: Virtual (Zoom), 3 weeks duration, 100% attendance required. Week 1: October 12–16, M‑F Live Zoom 10:00 am‑2:00 pm EST then 4 hrs/day self‑study. Week 2: October 19–23, M‑F Live Zoom 10:00 am‑2:00 pm EST then 4 hrs/day self‑st
