Bilingual Spanish Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist

Pay: $22-$32 per hour based on experience, paid biweekly Schedule: weekday after school and early evening hours, the same days each week Setting: in home, one on one, in the Newark, NJ area Language: fluent Spanish and English required About The Role One Step Forward is hiring a bilingual (Spanish/English) ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician to work one on one with a child in the Newark, NJ area. You'll work with the same child on a consistent weekly schedule, following an individualized ABA program under ongoing BCBA supervision, and supporting a Spanish speaking family. What you'll do Provide one on one ABA therapy in the child's home Teach communication, social, play and daily living skills Follow individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs Use reinforcement and prompting strategies Collect accurate session data and complete electronic session notes Communicate with caregivers in Spanish and English, and regularly with your supervising BCBA What we offer Pay shown up front: $22-$32 per hour based on experience Paid biweekly A consistent caseload: the same child, the same schedule, week to week Ongoing BCBA supervision and guidance What you'll bring Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Previous ABA experience preferred Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities, as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, RBT, paraprofessional, special education aide or similar Dependable and able to keep a consistent weekly schedule Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation for in home sessions Apply today to join One Step Forward. ¿Hablas español e inglés?
