Sources and screens applicants
- Uses applicant tracking database and job board key word searches
- Cold-calls prospective applicants
- Attends career fairs and networks
- Maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions
- Plans and attends job fairs to develop a candidate pool
- Screens applicants and coordinates with hiring managers to schedule interviews
- Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers
- Posts jobs for recruitment as needed
- Generates recruitment status reports
- Participates in training to learn new recruitment practices
- Develops subject matter expertise in recruitment
- Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team
- Ensures compliance with government agency regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual: Spanish & English
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of recruiting or related experience required
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of recruitment and employment practices
- Assesses candidates effectively via telephone or face-to-face
- Time management and organizational skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
