Sources and screens applicants

  • Uses applicant tracking database and job board key word searches
  • Cold-calls prospective applicants
  • Attends career fairs and networks
  • Maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions
  • Plans and attends job fairs to develop a candidate pool
  • Screens applicants and coordinates with hiring managers to schedule interviews
  • Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers
  • Posts jobs for recruitment as needed
  • Generates recruitment status reports
  • Participates in training to learn new recruitment practices
  • Develops subject matter expertise in recruitment
  • Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team
  • Ensures compliance with government agency regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual: Spanish & English
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of recruiting or related experience required

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of recruitment and employment practices
  • Assesses candidates effectively via telephone or face-to-face
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
