Bilingual Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor will assist the Manufacturing Manager in overseeing the production area, managing human and material resources to meet production goals, ensuring safety and quality, and coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Manages human and material resources to meet production goals.
• Responsible for productivity expectations.
• Prepares and maintains production reports.
• Maintains headcounts for optimal production output.
• Leads Failure Analysis (FA) sessions for repetitive failures and production misses.
• Manages the safety and cleanliness of the production area.
• Delegates cleaning responsibilities to hourly workers.
• Ensures all workers within area of responsibility are wearing PPE.
• Coaches unsafe behaviors of production workers.
• Monitors production lines to ensure products are produced to customer specifications.
• Coaches production workers on food safe production and adherence to GMP’s.

Requirements

• 5+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience with inventory ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing terminology and tools.
• Basic knowledge of operations: production, shipping, receiving, inventory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred and considered an asset to support a diverse workface.
