Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Remote)
We're seeking a Bilingual Member Services Advocate to support members with benefits questions, enrollment assistance, wellness programs, and account support in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and emails from members regarding benefits, eligibility, wellness programs, spending accounts, and enrollment questions
- Assist members with open enrollment, COBRA, qualifying life events, and benefit coverage changes
- Verify eligibility and update member account information
- Reset online account passwords and support website navigation
- Order member ID cards and benefit-related materials
- Educate members on available programs, resources, and online tools
- Conduct follow-up and outbound calls to improve member experience
- Document interactions accurately and manage cases through resolution
- Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining a positive member experience
Requirements
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (Spanish-speaking support required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center
- Experience working remotely with a proven track record of reliability and strong job tenure
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must reside in Texas
- Reliable internet service with minimum speeds of 200 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload
Qualifications
- Experience supporting medical, dental, vision, or pharmacy benefits
- Open enrollment or COBRA experience
- Healthcare benefits administration experience
- Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer navigation skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $18.36/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
