Description Our Familia Dental in Racine office is looking for full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join their team! We are seeking an energetic and organized Front Desk Professional to join our fast-paced, community-oriented dental practice at our 5201 Wshington Ave Ste A Racine WI 53406 office. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and excels at multitasking in a busy environment. This role is the first point of contact for our patients—welcoming them with warmth and efficiency while managing appointments, patient records, and daily administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. Job Purpose To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided. Responsibilities Greet and check in patientsAnswering the phone and scheduling appointmentsMaintain patient accounts and records Knowing and understanding insurance plan rules and protocols and able to follow themHaving patience and ability to be sensitive to patient emotionsAbility to listen to patients and other healthcare workers and follow directions from a Dentist or supervisor.Verify patient's insurance Insure all record keeping requirements are fully and accurately completedSubmit claims to insurance companies Notify Office Manager of equipment trouble or general safety concernsAttend and participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and regular office meetings..Follow company policy and proceduresUnderstand and follow HIPAA regulations, state and Federal OSHA laws and safety standards and maintain confidentiality.Other tasks as assigned.
