Bilingual Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support patient scheduling operations in a high-volume healthcare environment. This remote role manages inbound calls, schedules appointments, verifies insurance eligibility, and provides patients with accurate and timely information regarding services and appointments.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients, internal staff, and healthcare departments.
- Provide information regarding clinic services, appointment availability, and scheduling procedures.
- Schedule appointments for clinical and support service departments.
- Route inquiries and messages to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Support departmental call queues and appointment desks as needed.
- Conduct appointment reminder and confirmation calls to patients.
- Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic systems.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, including Medi-Cal HMO plans.
- Generate and distribute daily appointment schedules to appropriate departments and staff.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while assisting patients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous call center experience required.
- Prior work-from-home experience preferred.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully remote, contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA 90015.
