About the role

We are seeking an experienced consumer debt collector to join our corporate office in East Memphis. Responsibilities include contacting debtors by phone, skip tracing, setting up payment plans, and processing accounts for legal action when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Contact debtors by phone
• Perform skip tracing
• Set up payment plans
• Process accounts for legal action when necessary
• Initiate garnishment proceedings
• Meet or exceed predetermined goals

Requirements

• Previous collections experience
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Knowledge of FDCPA
• Experience with judicial attachments/repossession
• Professional communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and follow-up skills
• Regular attendance is required

Pay

Starting pay is $15/hr for the first two months during training, then $11/hr + commission thereafter. Expected annual earnings range from $35,000 to $45,000 per year.
