About the role

CDL Drivers (Class A and B) ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes. Responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service. Training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates motivation and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before and after the trip.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading items.
• Accept payments for delivered items.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from clients.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, and forklifts.
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside the truck to prevent breakage or damage.
• Comply with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL – A or B issued by the state where you intend to work and Medical Card.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record.
• Stable work history.
