Bilingual Branch Collections Specialist

About the role

The Branch Collections Specialist at OneMain contacts customers to help them resolve their financial obligations through arrangements for repayment or settlement of account balances. This role focuses on existing customers with long-term relationships, working with them in a consultative manner to negotiate and resolve account matters.

Responsibilities

• High volume collections activities to achieve delinquency goals for an assigned branch
• Work with customers in a consultative manner, negotiating (including renewing the loan) to resolve account matters
• Commitment to excellent customer service with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Overcome objections and utilize strong negotiation skills to resolve customer delinquencies

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Bilingual/Spanish (preferred)
• Collections or Customer Service experience (preferred)
