About the role
Bearingstar is seeking Customer Service Agents to join our team in Fairfield, Connecticut. Ideal candidates should have experience with Personal lines of Insurance and a CT Property and Casualty license.
Responsibilities
- Act as the agency representative to clients, fellow professionals, the public, and the general business community.
- Provide counsel and advice on new and/or additional insurance needs, explaining coverages and types of policies.
- Identify risk exposures, qualify potential prospects.
- Maintain an underwriting renewal review process and a marketing renewal review program for all policyholders.
- Act as the first line of contact in the reporting and assignment of claim information for designated policyholders.
- Resolve general customer inquiries.
Requirements
- A CT Property and Casualty license is required.
- Experience within the Personal Lines insurance industry is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Pay
The current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary or hourly wage range for this position is approximately $57,500 ($29.00 an hour) - $64,350 ($33.00 an hour).
Schedule
The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
