BIA Customer Service Agent - Personal Lines - HYBRID

We are currently searching for a Customer Service Agent to join one of our Massachusetts locations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the agency representative to clients, fellow professionals, the public and the general business community.
• Provide counsel & advice on new and/or additional insurance needs, explaining coverages & types of policies.
• Identify risk exposures and qualify potential prospects.
• Maintain an underwriting renewal review process and a marketing renewal review program for all policyholders.
• Act as the first line of contact in the reporting and assignment of claim information for designated policyholders.
• Resolve general customer inquiries.

Requirements

• Experience with Personal lines of Insurance is a plus.
• A Massachusetts Property & Casualty insurance license is strongly encouraged (training and support provided to obtain the license).

Skills

• Customer Service and Sales skills are a must.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently and as a team player.

Pay

The reasonable and good‑faith estimate of the annual salary range is approximately $57,500 ($29.00 per hour) to $64,350 ($33.00 per hour), based on relevant skills and experience. (Note: the advertised pay range is not a guarantee of a specific wage.)

Schedule

Standard work schedule is 37.5 hours per week. After an initial 90‑day in‑house training period, the role can be hybrid – a few days in the office and a couple of days working from home each week.
