Functions of the Job
- Oversee support staff functions, including service documentation, incident reporting, background clearance, first aid and CPR certifications, and personnel file and training requirements.
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor support staff and volunteer training progress.
- Execute personnel tasks related to support staff (e.g. hiring/termination procedures, training, timesheets, performance evaluations, submission of check requests, mileage, billing notification forms, etc.).
- Coordinate personnel and billing activities with the supervisor for final approval.
- Fill in for unavailable staff members as needed.
- Attend bi-weekly management meetings to coordinate interdepartmental needs and resolve issues.
- Assisted the treatment team with support staff functions such as faxing, filing, copying, scanning, scheduling, customer service, receipts for payments, requests for documentation from external agencies, etc.
- Engage in regular quality assurance activities to ensure support staff documentation meets standards. Report results of quality assurance activities to the Director and follow up with staff to correct issues.
- Manage itineraries and communication liaison between Navigators and the treatment team.
- Conduct daily organizational meetings with navigator peer groups and document meetings.
- Conduct Life Skills, behavioral groups, and SAG groups as needed.
- Cookordination and ensure all behavioral groups and unattended business are resolved and feedback sent to the clinical team.
- Medication administration as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate with Dominion regarding the UA process with all clients in the program (see UA process).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus two years experience in the business management or medical billing field.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
