BHS/PBB Maintenance Manager - DCA Airport

About the Role

ERMC Aviation Services is in search of an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee BHS, PBB, and Facilities Maintenance operations at DCA airport.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner; must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
• Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors, and be on call for emergencies.
• Handle multiple internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities, manage deadlines, and develop plans to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
• Work with Safety department leadership to understand, implement, and audit safety programs; ensure all safety programs and procedures are followed.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and strong working relationships with operations leadership.
• Facilitate technical and safety training, and help develop professional growth of maintenance associates.
• Mentor maintenance associates by motivating and providing direction to help them achieve goals and exceed expectations.
• Promote and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
• Participate in weekly network site calls and periodic Maintenance Manager offsite conferences.
• Provide specific, actionable feedback to enhance individual performance, including written performance appraisals, discipline, and up to termination.
• Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by prioritizing customer needs and company interests.
• Perform additional duties or assignments as required by leadership.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and Social Security card.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, including hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
• Must pass a criminal background check to receive appropriate security clearances.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours based on operational needs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in airport BHS and/or PBB Maintenance.
