Beverage Shift Supervisor
About the role
Develop an environment that creates excitement for guests and Team Members, promoting and retaining a highly skilled workforce. Provide leadership and direction to assigned beverage service personnel to achieve maximum operating results, revenue tracking, and cost of sales control.
Responsibilities
- Actively build and retain customer relations; mentor Team Members to provide superior customer service.
- Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise assigned personnel; coach for success, development, and continuing improvement of employee skills.
- Control cost of product by monitoring par stocks and ensuring preparation of drinks within established policies and procedures.
- Control cost of labor and materials through effective scheduling to maintain high service standards with minimal labor hours.
- Perform assigned input work in compiling annual budgets.
- Monitor appearance of all facilities and service areas to ensure Caesars standards are maintained.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable state, federal, and company regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Act immediately on customer complaints to ensure corrections or service recovery.
- Demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years Food & Beverage experience.
- Two years supervisory experience.
- Fluent and literate in English.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal skills, with emphasis in relationship building.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good customer service skills, both internal and external.
- Ability to negotiate with diverse departments.
- Ability to implement strategic visions/plans into day-to-day operations.
- Uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations; recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Act as a role model to other Team Members; present oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourage others to do the same.
- Adhere to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.

- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positions with public contact require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.
- Non-public contact positions may occasionally enter public areas and be subject to the same environment.
