Responsibilities

  • Assists with the development and managing of the budget for the beverage department.
  • Supervises programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Schedules staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels employment and at the level to ensure a positive gaming experience by the guests of Maryland Live Casino.
  • Develops staff, to include training, interviewing for new hires, performance management, to include disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Affords assistance with coordination and supervision of department financial data.
  • Reviews beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager.
  • Maintains performance to local competition.
  • Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws for local area.
  • Knowledge of Health Department, applicable OSHA Regulations, and Gaming Regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: A two (2)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience with bar operations, supervising and processes.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
