Beverage Service Shift Supervisor - Bossier City

About the Role

With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for a Beverage Supervisor to grow with the organization and help drive our future success. This role is responsible for the successful operation of the bars, directing cocktail, bartending, and bar back staff to ensure guests have a favorable gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development and managing of the budget for the beverage department.
• Supervises programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Schedules staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels while ensuring a positive gaming experience for guests.
• Develops staff through training, interviewing for new hires, performance management (including disciplinary counseling), and conducting performance evaluations.
• Assists with coordination and supervision of department financial data.
• Reviews beverage activities and promotions with the Beverage Manager.
• Monitors and adjusts performance to local competition.
• Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Ensures knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, Health Department regulations, applicable OSHA Regulations, and Gaming Regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience with bar operations, supervising, and processes.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

• A two (2)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents, computer screens, and organize materials.
