Beverage Manager
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Bar and Lounge Ownership
- Create new offerings for bar and lounge guests
- Staff beverage training and materials generation
- Review bar and lounge performance and policies
- Maintain quality and par levels of beverages
- Ensure accuracy of menus and POS postings
- Support staff with beverage-related tasks
- Handle beverage updates in POS system
- Assist with bar/lounge schedule
- Respond to guest requests
- Drive training culture
- Conclude daily operation notes in Avero report/log
Labor Management and Bar Performance
- Continually review bar and lounge performance
- Follow current safety procedures
- Understand and direct others in safety procedures
- Manage labor and bar performance
Product Presentation
- Maintain quality of all beverages
- Monitor proper par levels of beverages
- Ensure quality and seasonality of beverage offerings
Financial Follow-up
- Order beverages according to restaurant procedures
- Maintain COG levels given by General Manager
- Update beverage pricing to reflect market values
- Continue sales growth of bar and lounge
Administrative Support
- Accuracy of all menus and POS postings
- Assist General Manager with bar/lounge schedule
- Support dining room staff with beverage tasks
- Complete closing bar/lounge/dining room checklist
Responsibilities to Staff
