Beverage Manager

Requested Tasks

  • Oversight of daily operations of all hotel beverage outlets, including bars, lounges, and beverage service
  • Maintain exceptional beverage quality, presentation, service execution, and guest satisfaction
  • Develop, implement, and uphold beverage service, appearance, and operational standards
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage bartenders and beverage team members
  • Lead regular team meetings to ensure consistent communication and service excellence
  • Manage beverage purchasing, inventory, ordering, and cost controls to achieve financial goals
  • Aid with budgeting, labor management, payroll, and beverage cost analysis
  • Develop seasonal cocktail menus, wine and beer selections, and promotional beverage programs
  • Partner with Culinary, Sales, Marketing, and Banquet teams to support events and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations, health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor beverage industry trends to keep offerings innovative and competitive
  • Collaborate closely with property leadership to drive operational excellence and guest satisfaction

Requested Capabilities

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in beverage, bar, or hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service
  • Experience developing beverage menus and managing beverage programs
  • Proven experience leading, training, and developing hospitality teams
  • Financial acumen with experience managing beverage inventory, labor, and cost controls
  • Exceptional guest service, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • TABC Certification (or the ability to obtain certification) preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
