Beverage Industry - Sanitation Associate, 2nd shift

About the role

The Sanitation Technician maintains sanitation standards and supports production operations in a wet production environment. Attention to detail, adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards, and the ability to perform physical tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP’s and wear appropriate PPE for the work being conducted.
• Pull CIP rinse water samples from production lines, involving walking, reaching, stretching, lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Perform ATP swabs.
• Verify chemical dilutions.
• Conduct inventory control of chemicals and equipment.
• Complete work orders for equipment that is not functioning properly.
• Demonstrate proper CIP and cleaning techniques.
• Ensure all CIP and sanitation verification paperwork is completed accurately, on time, and in full, daily.
• Properly run CIP system on various pieces of equipment.
• Properly use COP tank for cleaning.
• Complete carbon backwash cleaning.
• Clean blending tanks.
• Conduct daily operational checks and complete MSS paperwork.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Good communication skills (English and/or Spanish) and ability to work as a team with co-workers and plant personnel.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritize job responsibilities.
• Ability to read English or Spanish policies and procedures and adhere to them.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Participate in annual CIP and chemical handling training.
• High school diploma or GED.

Schedule

• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Pay

$18.00 per hour
