Beverage Industry - Packaging Associate, 2nd shift

Sunny Sky Products is dedicated to creating, manufacturing, and delivering top-quality products in the beverage industry, with an extensive portfolio including frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed, and beverage enhancers.

Responsibilities

• Work on packaging lines to produce liquid and powdered beverage concentrates
• Maintain cleanliness of production area in accordance with GMP guidelines
• Retain and identify samples of all production batches
• Check for application and accuracy of codes on all packages
• Rotate raw materials on FIFO basis and maintain cleanliness of raw material areas
• Pack and stack finished products
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, including daily greasing and lubrication
• Run various filling and packaging machines (training will be provided)
• Keep accurate records of all daily cleaning and preventive maintenance functions
• Keep accurate label records of all items

Requirements

• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to keep complete and accurate written records
• Able and open to learn the operation of new pieces of filling equipment and advance within the company
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

Pay

$18.00 per hour with a sign-up bonus up to $500.00.
