About the Role
The Operations Manager oversees and directs the operations function within the Showroom. They are the expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools, ensuring the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience. The Operations Manager will report to the Showroom Director and is the heart of the back-of-house operations. They support all sales endeavors while maintaining a deep appreciation for process improvement. Strong communication skills and collaboration with sales professionals and management are key to driving the business.
Responsibilities
- Manages employees' issues in accordance with company guidelines and practices.
- Partners with management to onboard new hires, including training on company processes, policies, and procedures.
- Completes all new hire paperwork.
- Acts as a role model for company “floor-ready” expectations in terms of dress code; behaves as a brand ambassador to all audiences.
- Assists with floor coverage to support the team in providing a superior experience for clients.
- Sets an example through client interactions and ensures a welcoming environment on the floor.
- Supports brand image by ensuring all displays and visual areas align with visual direction throughout the day; partners with the visual merchandising team as needed.
- Addresses and resolves client situations according to company philosophy and standards.
- Manages daily store operations, including opening and closing the store and scheduling security guards.
- Oversees all shipping and receiving activities, including cycle counts, inventory control, and inventory.
- Oversees the Service Department, working closely with the Repair Manager.
- Supports, promotes, and assumes responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management.
- Reconciles merchandise discrepancies, re-tickets merchandise, and makes necessary price adjustments.
- Manages controllable expenses.
- Ensures the after-sale procedure is maintained at all times.
- Oversees the timely and accurate balancing of operational functions, including mail checks and invoices.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and processes; ensures team adherence to company retail operating and security procedures.
- Ensures digital fluency and systems knowledge, including training and education on POS and SAP.
- Completes all duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Operations in a service-related industry.
- High school or college degree.
Skills

Pay
$80,000.00–$90,000.00 annually + bonus opportunity.
