About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Benefits Manager US Disability Leave & Voluntary Benefits to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and recommend benefits programs and enhancements to align with corporate strategy and industry trends
  • Interface with internal and external vendor partners, providing strategic direction for leave of absence programs
  • Manage life insurance programs, including enrollment and claims processing
  • Ensure company voluntary benefits programs align with the needs of U.S. employees
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws for all plans
  • Collaborate with partners and vendors to track plan performance and develop dashboards
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee inquiries and develop communication materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of benefits management experience in a large, complex organization, preferably in manufacturing
  • Professional certifications like Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or SHRM-CP/SCP are highly desirable
  • Expert knowledge of federal and state leave and disability laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly
  • Proficient with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and benefits administration platforms

Compensation

$122,400 – $203,900 annually
