About the role
Join our small, but mighty, Dexcom benefits team in an Americas-focused benefits role. This role will assist the Director Global Benefits with America’s benefit and leaves programs and will need to have a strong background in benefits design, implementation, leave administration and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the benefits of the Americas region, including healthcare, supplemental benefits, time off, leaves, retirement programs, etc.
- Manage leave administration and accommodations for the Americas region (currently U.S. and Canada).
- Lead all details of annual open enrollment for the Americas region.
- Oversee Workday benefits configuration for the Americas region working with HRIT and HR Operations.
- Manage benefits compliance: annual testing/filings including ACA, 401(k) audit, retirement plan testing, FSA testing, employee notices, 5500s, etc.
- Ensure plan documents, communications, intranet, benefits records and regulatory reports are kept up to date and executed according to current mandates and guidelines.
- Monitor, analyze, and recommend ongoing changes to benefits structure and policy to maintain competitiveness, compliance, cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with offshore shared services teams to deliver efficient, high-quality HR and benefits administration, while effectively managing service levels, escalations, and stakeholder expectations in a global environment.
- Expand the process and procedure documentation and ensure all internal and external knowledge articles are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements
- Established background and extensive knowledge in United States and Canada benefits, retirement, leave, time-off and well-being programs. Additional countries a plus.
- Knowledge of self-funded/self-insured plans a plus.
- Supervisory and/or management experience overseeing a team of benefits and leaves analysts.
- Good writing skills, strong communication skills, customer service, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision planning your schedule, problem solving, and arranging activities to accomplish your objectives.
- Proficiency with MS Office with strong Excel, Smartsheet, and presentation skills.
- Experience with technology platforms such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, Workday, and ADP.
- Strong project management experience overseeing various projects at the same time.
Pay
$111,100.00 – $185,100.00
Schedule
Flexible workplace: primary location is a home office; no assigned workstation. Travel required 0–5%. Must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120 km).
