About the Role
As a Benefits Call Center Representative, you'll support customers by answering inbound calls related to defined benefit pension plans and retirement programs. This includes assisting callers with pension eligibility, benefit calculations, payment options, retirement estimates, and general pension-related inquiries. You will manage a steady call volume while navigating multiple systems and processing requests according to established guidelines. Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills are essential when handling sensitive retirement information. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can remain focused, meet performance expectations, and deliver a professional, positive experience for every caller.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Previous customer service and call center experience
- Experience with defined benefit pension plans, retirement programs, or employee benefits preferred
- Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively while navigating multiple systems
- Ability to follow guidelines and process transactions accurately
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a remote environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of background check and drug test
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass an internet speed test (download ≥ 25 Mbps, upload ≥ 5 Mbps, ping ≤ 175 ms)
- Must have the ability to connect with an ethernet cable to a modem/router
Due to varying state and local minimum wage laws, we are currently only able to hire candidates residing in states where our compensation structure complies with applicable wage regulations. We are currently NOT hiring in the following geographies: AK, CA, CT, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY, and metro areas including Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City, Portland, Montgomery County (MD), Seattle, and Washington, DC.
Pay
$15/hour during training; $16/hour after training. The estimated salary range for this role is $32,760 - $40,950 annually.
Schedule
Monday - Friday | Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM. No weekends required.
