Benefits Account Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle eligibility changes, enrollments, and COBRA administration end to end
  • Process enrollment and COBRA documentation and confirm accurate coverage
  • Maintain and update benefits administration systems (EASE/Navigator or similar)
  • Support open enrollments, renewals, and client implementations
  • Afford assistance with carrier communications, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Prepare and support Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members and communicate proactively

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of group health, employee benefits, or related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minnesota Accident, Life & Health Insurance License required
  • Must already have or be willing to obtain within 30 days
  • Working knowledge or ability to quickly learn ERISA, COBRA, and ACAS
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and functions
  • Experience with EASE/Navigator or similar benefits systems preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
