Benefit Services Representative

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Services Representative to join a company in Spokane, Washington. This position is fully onsite, Monday‑Friday. The role involves providing customer service, processing benefits information, resolving inquiries, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee and client inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and plan information.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and life event updates.
• Process benefits documentation, applications, and other administrative requests accurately and within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate employee records and update benefits information in internal systems.
• Research and resolve benefits‑related issues, escalating complex questions when necessary.
• Communicate with insurance providers, benefits administrators, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Protect confidential employee and benefits information.
• Provide timely, professional customer service while managing multiple requests and competing priorities.

Requirements

• Experience performing administrative support duties in an office or HR‑related setting.
• Strong data entry skills with the ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Comfort using computers, business software, and online systems to complete daily tasks.
• High attention to detail when reviewing, updating, and validating information.
• Ability to manage a short‑term workload effectively and meet assignment deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a dependable, detail‑focused approach to work.
