About the Opportunity

The Benefit Service Representative plays a crucial role in providing knowledgeable and professional counseling to employees regarding their individual benefit options. This position directly supports employee understanding and enrollment processes, contributing to the organization’s goal of clear and effective benefit communication.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and counsel employees on benefit options through inbound and outbound service calls
• Enter employee and enrollment information accurately into appropriate systems
• Manage time effectively to meet employee availability and business needs
• Collaborate with supervisors to resolve outstanding customer service issues promptly
• Adhere to quality assurance, compliance standards, and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• Customer service experience with strong telephonic communication skills
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance products, including core and voluntary benefits, preferred
• Must reside in an approved work state as specified

Pay

Starting hourly pay range: $21.63 to $23.00 per hour. Eligible for monthly incentive compensation based on performance after 90 days. Actual pay determined by candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
