About the role
Located at the Greene County Child Support Office, 1735 West Catalpa St, Springfield, MO, the Benefit Program Technician serves Missouri residents by assessing their Child Support needs via phone and in‑person, assisting with establishing paternity orders and processing child support payments.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming call‑center phone calls regarding Child Support questions
- Assess callers’ needs and guide them through the paternity‑order establishment process
- Assist with making and receiving child support payments
- Take, distribute, scan, and index information received from calls, walk‑ins, and mail
- Enter information into computer‑based systems from phone calls, walk‑in visits, and mail
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer‑service experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree.
