BENCH TECHNICIAN (NY)

Part-time entry-level position in our Engineering Department with a nationally recognized leader in broadcast and media technology solutions, based at our Yorktown Heights facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform component-level repairs of broadcast equipment
• Communicate with manufacturers and vendors to schedule outsourced repairs and maintain records of RMAs, shipment tracking, and related documents
• Maintain in-house stock levels for parts and supplies required for repairs

Familiarity with cable harness assemblies and repairs, mechanical background, PC literacy, and ability to read schematics and build sheets are pluses.

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs above shoulder level without assistance
• Ability to stand, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods of time
• Clean driver’s license
• Reliable attendance and detail-oriented work ethic
• Safety-first attitude in performance of duties
• Eagerness to learn about the industry and technology
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Experience with hand tools, portable power tools, and test tools (specifically a multimeter) is a plus.
