About the role
T-Mobile is seeking a Field Technician to support Engineering & Operations team across Northern New York. This role covers Franklin and St. Lawrence counties, including cities like Malone, Potsdam, and Canton.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot network performance issues
- Support outage resolution
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Execute and support key projects
- Achieve accurate tracking, reporting, and communication
- Recommend process improvements and assist in developing documentation, job aids, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant field experience
- 2-4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles
- 2-4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field
- Basic knowledge of electronics and telecommunications systems (RF, fiber, microwave, RAN, NR, Base Station technology, Wireless Backhaul, and/or power systems)
- Experience with Ericsson and/or Nokia RAN equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age to operate a company assigned vehicle
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Travel Required (Yes)

Skills & Abilities
