About the role
Bell Design Group is seeking a Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, managerial excellence, and leadership to oversee architectural projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all project phases including planning, contracts, design coordination, detailing, consultants, and construction administration
- Management of project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations and firm standards
- Primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Solving complex design and technical challenges with creativity and precision
- Representing the studio in client meetings, presentations, and agency reviews
- Engaging in studio culture, leadership, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Architectural license preferred but not required
- 8-10+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years as a Project Manager
- Experience must include carrying projects of both large and small scale from design concept through completion
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Microsoft Office
- Sufficient skills with BIM (ArchiCAD preferred), AutoCAD, and other drafting software
- Ajera knowledge is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of code analysis, construction methods, engineering systems, agency processing, construction detailing, and contract administration
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strategic thinker with a passion for problem-solving and innovation
- Proactive, resourceful mindset and a commitment to craft
- Attention to both detail and big-picture concepts
- Excellent foresight
Qualifications
- Experience with a broad range of project types, especially in affordable housing or hospitality is a plus
Skills
