Behavioral Health Therapist (LMSW, LAC, LPC-A)

About the role

The Behavioral Health Care Therapist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health services within a community health setting. As a licensed LMSW, LPC, or LPC-A/LAC, this position functions as a key member of the interdisciplinary health care team, providing therapeutic interventions and support to patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling
• Collaborate with medical providers, patients, families, and community resources to support recovery, improve patient outcomes, and address the social and emotional factors impacting health

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university from one of the following: Masters in Social Work, Masters in Psychology, Masters in Counseling
• Current license in the state of Texas or Arkansas (whichever is applicable to the position) as a Licensed Master's Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, or Licensed Associate Counselor
• Preferred: Trauma, PTSD Recovery Experience
