Behavioral Health Therapist I - Outpatient

About the role

The Behavioral Health Therapist I is responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate. Conducts outpatient case management and discharge planning, maintains accurate documentation, caseload management, and delivers therapeutic and educational interventions. Maintains knowledge of community resources and performs other duties as assigned to include program specific duties.

• Maintains accurate documentation and caseload management.
• Delivers therapeutic and educational interventions.
• Maintains knowledge of community resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including program specific tasks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Driver's License.
• Licensed as a LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health), or LCSW (Social Work).
• 2 years clinical related experience or 9 month internship.
• 1 year of relevant experience with Master's degree.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work, Psychology, or Related Field.
• 2 years clinical related experience or 9 month internship.
• 1 year of relevant experience with Master's degree.
