Behavioral Health Technician - Peds Crisis Program
About the role
The Munson Pediatric Crisis Residential Program is a six‑bed, short‑term residential treatment program for youth ages 8–17 experiencing a behavioral health crisis, providing 24/7, trauma‑informed care in a safe, home‑like environment as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. During a typical 7–14 day stay, residents receive individualized treatment—including therapy, medication management, skill‑building, and family involvement—to stabilize their mental health and prepare for a successful return home, school, and community. Staff are part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care that helps youth and families navigate crises and build a foundation for long‑term recovery.
