Behavioral Health Technician - Overnights

About the Role

Avenues Recovery Center in Concord, NH is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for the overnight shift (12am-8am). Now offering a sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification (preferred).
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

About the Workplace

Avenues Recovery Center at New England is a residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services. This location is affiliated exclusively with Sober Living New Hampshire—a collection of three boutique sober living homes—allowing clients to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful, relaxed, domestic setting with round-the-clock supervision and care.

The staff consists of nurse practitioners, primary therapists, clinicians, addictions counselors, and behavioral health technicians, many of whom are in recovery themselves and deeply invested in client success.
