About the role
Amatus Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support individuals in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client admissions, orientations, and transportation needs.
- Monitor client activities and maintain a safe treatment environment.
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition.
- Conduct routine client accountability checks and monitor family visits.
- Absorb and de-escalate crises when necessary.
- Complete shift reports, documentation, and daily checklists.
- Support medical and clinical staff as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- CDC required.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
