$19.00 – $21.50 an hour
Schedule
Sunday to Wednesday, 12:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Three consecutive days off
About the role
Join a mission-driven, trauma-informed, patient-centered team supporting adolescents (12–17) in mental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement. Responsibilities
- Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills
- Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines
- Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques
- Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams
- Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols
Requirements
- 21+ with HS diploma/GED (degree in human services preferred)
- 0–1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services (preferred)
- Willingness for CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training (provided)
- Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization
- Must pass background and drug screening per MO law
- Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience
