About the role
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Manager for Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of behavioral health concepts, principles, and methods of treatment, along with good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all phases of nursing care provided on the program
- Determine staffing requirements and material resources necessary to provide care to the patients on the program
- Provide supervision, assessment, and evaluation of the competence and performance of the nursing personnel
- Demonstrate expertise in mental health promotion and maintenance of high quality, comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Have five years of registered psychiatric nursing experience, or a combination of education and experience that meets the minimum qualifications
- Have two years of psychiatric nursing experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in the specialty area of psychiatry
- Be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Nevada
- Hold a BLS certification
- Obtain CPI certification within 30 days of hire

Pay
The salary range for this role is $104,270.40 - $156,416.00 per year. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
