Behavioral Health Nurse Manager

About the role

Manage the day-to-day nursing operations of an inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric unit while ensuring safe patient care, regulatory compliance, staff performance, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise behavioral health nurses and other staff.
• Manage daily staff assignments, scheduling, and coverage.
• Monitor the quality and safety of patient care.
• Manage departmental resources, supplies, and productivity.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, orientation, and retention of staff.
• Participate in regulatory/accreditation activities and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
• Active Unencumbered FL State (RN) Registered Nurse License or Multi-State RN compact license
• Associate Degree
