Behavioral Health Nurse

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse provides night-shift inpatient psychiatric care for adults with behavioral health needs. Working alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary team, this RN performs assessments, administers medications, and monitors patient status to ensure safety and effective treatment. The role involves de-escalating crises, documenting care using evidence-based models, and supporting patient and family education. Additional responsibilities include discharge planning and collaborating with community resources to facilitate recovery. Qualifications and skills: relevant nursing licensure, experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care, strong assessment and crisis intervention skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role is focused on delivering safe, patient-centered care in a dynamic mental health environment.
