Behavioral Health Nurse

About the Role

This full-time position supports young adults experiencing their first mental health episodes as part of the ACT-TAY team. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with an interprofessional team, clients, and families. You will promote respect, equity, and empathy while evaluating changes in patient conditions and ensuring safe, evidence-based care delivery in both clinic and community settings. Responsibilities include client transportation and documentation. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred (supervisory experience not required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
