Behavioral Health Counselor - Outpatient Behavioral Health - FT - Days - MRH

Responsibilities

• Facilitates groups with adults and/or adolescents.
• Maintains patient lists and patient data tracking for outcome reporting.
• Develops and maintains daily activity schedules.
• Provides community outreach and engagement as needed.
• Provides case management and clinical services for clients and their families.
• Evaluates and assesses the needs and strengths of clients and families.

• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)

Other Information

• Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience working with patients who have behavioral health conditions such as substance abuse and/or serious mental illness.
