Behavioral Health Clinician II
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians. Eligible candidates must be hired into a full- or part-time position; bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires and current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible. Former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment.
About the role
The Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
- Licensed as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
- At least two years of behavioral health experience, including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician
- Maine state licensure to practice as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c)
Schedule
- Full-time, day shift
- 40 hours per week
Pay
The pay range for this position is $71,448.00 to $96,636.80 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
