The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Clinician II is responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' behavioral health needs.
• Developing and implementing individual, group, and family therapy treatment plans.
• Providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Maintaining client records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Education: Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field.
• License/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine.
• Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

Pay

The base range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).

Schedule

The schedule for this position is typically full-time, but part-time positions are also available. Specific schedules will vary based on departmental needs and availability.
