The role of Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The counselor is also responsible for maintaining clinical records, collaborating with community providers, and participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible
  • Former MaineHealth Member employees are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment
  • Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c)

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine
  • Behavioral health experience including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician

$66,123.20 to $89,481.60 per year
