Job Duties

• Supervises and coordinates work assignments, workflow, and duty activities of clinical staff who provide direct clinical services to consumers.
• Affirms program needs in adult services and makes recommendations to the Integrated Behavioral Health Manager relative to this.
• Plans and implements special programming related to clinical services and coordinates with other agencies as needed concerning services.
• Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, and all assigned screening tools in accordance with NEDHSA policy.
• Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.
• Initiates professional correspondence as needed, completes reports on time, and participates in behavioral health outreach initiatives as assigned.

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty
Location: Bastrop Integrated Care Clinic
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans. 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians. (Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
