Maxim Healthcare Services in Emeryville, CA is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider in San Mateo to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
- Assist with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavior, including crisis intervention
- Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
- Implement and collect data on the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
- At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
- College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or related field preferred
- Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to obtain)
- Updated TB test within the past 90 days (or willing to obtain)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
